At GUILDED LLC, we strive to be transparent and fair in all aspects of our operations. This page outlines our core policies related to service delivery, warranties, payments, cancellations, and safety.
1. Service Warranty & Guarantee
- Labor Warranty: All labor performed by GUILDED LLC technicians is guaranteed for 90 days from the completion date. If an issue recurs within this period due to an error on our part, we will return at no additional labor cost.
- Parts Warranty: Any replacement parts installed by GUILDED LLC carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty length varies by brand and component; your technician will review the specific parts warranty details at time of service.
- Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage or failures resulting from:
- Acts of nature (e.g., lightning strikes, flooding)
- Improper system installation by third-party contractors
- Unauthorized modifications or tampering
- Failure to follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations
2. Payment Policy
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and electronic bank transfers. Checks are accepted for commercial accounts with approved credit.
- Estimates & Deposits: For jobs exceeding $1,500, a 25% deposit is required prior to scheduling. The remaining balance is due upon job completion. Smaller repairs typically do not require a deposit.
- Invoices & Billing: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- Financing Options: We partner with third-party financing providers to offer 0% interest plans for qualified customers. Ask your technician or call our office for details.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Residential Customers: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a $50 “no-show” fee.
- Commercial Accounts: Commercial clients must provide 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. A fee equal to 50% of the scheduled labor charge may apply for late cancellations.
- Emergency Service Calls: Emergency repair dispatches are billed at a premium rate. If an emergency technician is en route or on-site and you cancel without notifying us, a minimum service charge of $150 applies.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Technician Credentials: All GUILDED LLC technicians are EPA-certified and undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- On-Site Safety: Customers must ensure clear access to the equipment area. Children and pets should be kept away from work zones. If additional safety measures are required (e.g., scaffolding, specialized lifts), those costs will be communicated in advance.
- Code Compliance: We comply with all applicable Florida Building Codes, manufacturer installation guidelines, and industry best practices. Any required permits or inspections are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in the written quote.
5. Environmental & Refrigerant Handling
- Refrigerant Recovery: We recover and recycle all refrigerants in accordance with EPA Section 608 regulations. A refrigerant handling fee is included in all repair and recharge services.
- Disposal of Old Equipment: We will properly dispose of or recycle replaced air-conditioning units, motors, compressors, and other components. A disposal fee may apply for particularly large or hazardous items.
- Energy-Efficiency Recommendations: Whenever possible, we recommend high-efficiency equipment upgrades to reduce environmental impact and lower utility consumption.
6. Privacy & Data Security
- Customer Information: Any personal or billing information collected during service scheduling and invoicing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see “Privacy Policy” page). We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except as required for service (e.g., credit card processing, warranty registrations).
